Mallory Heroux was dominant in the circle on Wednesday with 2 complete games wins.  Heroux struck out 12 batters in the first game on the way to a 4-1 win and 13 batters in the second game with a 2-0 win

Heroux gave up 3 hits, 2 walks and one un-earned run including the 12 strikeouts in the first game.  The Hornets got the scoring started in the 3rd inning when Heroux lead off the inning with a singled then walks to Victoria Henige, Ashlyn Orr, Aubrey Sevello-Hassled scored a run.  Makena Gemalsky walked followed by a single by Anna Lucius scoring another run.

Orr lead the Hornets in the first game going 3-3.  Hassled, Orr, Gemalsky and Lucius had an RBI, and Henige walked 3 times 

In the nightgap Heroux threw a complete game shutout striking out 13, giving up 2 hits and no walks.  

The Hornets scored in the first inning when Ava Thorsby lead of the inning with and walk and then scored on a double by Henige.  The bottom of the 2nd  Gemalsky and Lucius each singled followed by a bunt single by Thorsby to score Gemalsky.

Lucius the number 8 hitter went 2-3 on the day

The hornets did not commit a single error in the 2nd game and Henige had the most chances with 16
